A full breakfast and five-course dinner are included in the Grand Hotel room rate, and are served in the Main Dining Room. Breakfast includes a wide selection of entrees, including omelets and made-to-order eggs, hot and cold cereals, pancakes French toast with real Michigan maple syrup, hot oatmeal, breakfast meats and salmon, fresh breads and pastries, fresh juices, fruits and more.
The legendary Grand Luncheon Buffet features garden-fresh salads, savory cheeses, slow-roasted meats, seafood and more than 20 varieties of fresh-baked pastries. Dinner features a menu renowned for its range and excellence, complimented by the hotel's well-stocked cellar of abundant domestic and imported wines. After dinner, guests are welcome in the parlor for nightly demitasse and music performed by the Grand Hotel Orchestra. A special children's dinner program is also available each evening in the Main Dining Room.
Nestled in the upper wooded portion of Mackinac Island, the casual Bavarian-style ambiance of Woods makes it an ideal luncheon destination for golfers, hikers or those touring the island by bicycle, foot or carriage. Enjoy homemade soup, salads, sandwiches and other delicious luncheon entrees while soaking in the island's breathtaking vistas. Woods' unique cuisine and atmosphere also make it a delightful spot for a special evening. Horse-drawn carriages are available to this enchanting site.
Carleton's Tea Store makes for a quaint lunch setting in an old-fashioned country store with daily soup and sandwich specialties, teas and confections. Homemade fudge, gifts and unusual kitchen and tea items are also sold. Located on the first tee of the Jewel, the Jockey Club features sandwiches, soup and salad daily, as well as dinner selections, served a la carte. Or enjoy you favorite luncheon items cooked poolside on our outdoor Pool Grill, along with complete beverage service.
