  • Just ok

This hotel is on east 42nd street but close enough to Times Square to walk to and from. The hotel is just average. Small rooms and my room had a alley view that was anything but good. Hot water wasn't abundant so shower early in the day. Was within walking distance to my conference hotel is the reason I stayed here.

  • Lovely Stay

    by Hillary52 on 2018-12-09 12:43 am

Stayed in this hotel with family for a weekend in the city. Shared a double room with my husband and two, school-age girls. The hotel itself was lovely. Our room was clean and more than adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Heating and A/C were a bit difficult and confusing to control, and both the sink and bathtub drained very slowly. However, everything else was great. Did not use on site parking or transportation from the hotel directly. There is a daily internet fee for in-room wifi. Would stay again.

  • Still transitioning from Hilton

Nice hotel - boutique style, rooms have character and are not standard. Hotel is well kept, and staff is very friendly. Great location next to Grand Central and definitely a nice place to stay. Not much in the way of the restaurant / mostly just a help yourself type store where you buy and do what you need. I had a queen bedroom that was quite quaint and nicely appointed. I would stay again.

Hotel was great. Room very clean. Coffee making facilities in room. Staff very helpful . location close to Chrysler Building, Grand Central Station, we found it easy to walk to United Nations, Empire State, Times Square and eas then to get on bus tours if you wish to go further afield.

  • Who needs light

My room is on 7th floor and has 2 tiny windows that look out onto nothing at all. Yes, that is right, its like having no windows at all. It is impossible to tell if it is night or day outside let alone what the weather is like. At $300 per night, this is not a budget option but honestly is a really terrible experience. The room is small, the bathroom absurdly outdated, the bath itself is tiny with an awful plastic show curtain. Hotel facilities are none at all really (breakfast buffet is as far as it goes. They try to charge extra for wifi access,
