  • Perfect for travelers

I stayed in this hotel for just one night. The next morning I had a train to Milan early in the morning so I chose it for the proximity to the train station. The staff is very qualified even if at check-in I had to wait 15 minutes. My room was not big but clean and with all the comfort and good design. In my opinion this nh hotel is comfortable for those who have to make a brief stop in Rome for work, but also is very useful for tourists who use the train on the Milan-Naples route. Price : reasonable.

Marcello at front desk was extremely accommodating & professional. Rooms were comfortable & clean. Enjoyed having the espresso maker & mini fridge in room. Train station next door with a market on ground floor for wine & tid bits for your room

Excellent quality and service with a fantastic location near termini Station. Only issue was could only set the airconditioning down to 20 degrees C which we like it a lot cooler for sleeping.Staff were always happy and obliging. Nothing was too hard for them.

  • Avoid, unless you need to be at station - and check these issues before you book

If you want to be near the train station its about your only 5 star option but there are some real negatives which make this "poor" for a 5 star hotel, Be aware of some issues before you book, and really there are better options unless you specifically need to be near station...

    - Some misleading photos/room features on (and perhaps other sites too). Photos of different room categories being used on other categories. Categories being advertised with twin bed options that don't actually have twin options and rooms being advertised as 'bath or shower' when that category doesn't actually have baths available. Couldn't be bothered to argue with reception or prove with screenshots, but ended up paying 70 euros upgrade to get the room type I needed. They need to do an audit and double check all descriptions and features are accurate.

Rooms to the front of the hotel get sun ALL day and can get incredibly warm. Aircon not sufficient to cool rooms and has minimum 21oC setting meaning if you need to 'cool' down the room quickly you can't do it. Rooms couldn't get down to 21oC even in November so must be very bad in summer. Lights too were very hot heating the room, and it was hard to switch of specific lights with most lights being controlled by master switches. We had to have lights off most of the time to cool the room.

    WIFI (Free - not really)
Yes, there is 'free' wifi, but there is also premium. So if you need reliable streaming wifi I assume the free wifi isn't suitable - we paid the upgrade so wasn't sure.

We paid to upgrade to a Junior Suite which is essentially a larger room with a massive false wall. Unfortunately there is only Aircon in 1 section - but there are 2 rooms. The aircon is insufficient to cool both rooms. No extractor/broken extractor in Bathroom too.

    5 STAR?? Maybe in Italy
No doubt this is a 'polished' hotel. Very new and modern, but 5 star? I guess based on other Italian hotels it is, but it felt more like a 4 to 4.5 star which gets 5 star because its pretty. I didn't scream 5 star luxury in any way.

    On the plus side....

    - Staff were friendly
    - Hotel very polished and new
    - Food was pretty good
    - If you want to be near station its right next door

If you need a 5 star at station thats the only reason to stay here. Other than that the issues around room size, descriptions and aircon/heat make other places a much better option.

  • Ace location

We stayed her for 3 nights on our first visit to Rome. The location couldn't have been better. Right outside Termini Station which is where A and B Metro lines cross. It's also the main bus terminal.
Getting from the airport by bus was simple. Central to all sight seeing locations.
Staff were very friendly. On check in the receptionists also gave me a map and some advise on the must see sights of the city. Prior to check out, the hotel also arranged a taxi for my airport transfer (4am)

Room was very modern. Bed was super comfy. Room was also cleaned twice a day!

Only thing I could possibly say against the hotel is that they should add the city tax on to your reservation rather than leaving it til you check out. I could be partly to blame for not reading the small print when booking but didn't expect a EUR42 bill when we hadn't had any extras. (EUR7 per person per night).

Would definitely stay again if visiting Rome
