  • Excellent Hotel with amazing staff and attention to detail

    by RobertH121 on 2020-01-17 07:04 pm

We stayed for 5 wonderful nights at the Aleph Rome.

From checkin to checkout we were treated superbly, that was the abiding memory of this hotel.
It's well located- we were able to walk from Termi Station and often walked into the centre or to Spagna.

Checkin was easy and charming, the room was comfortable and clean and refreshed a couple of times each day, including a night turndown service.

The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and the eggs Benedict were excellent. Note however that when it's said breakfast ends at 10:30 it means that when the buffet is taken away.

We ate in the Sky Restaurant one night which was extremely good and recommended.

But it was the staff which made the hotel. Everyone, without exception was pleasant and greeted you with a smile and an hello. The bar staff remembered our tea order from day one, the Concierge reserved us a table at a restaurant we wanted and provided an confirmation card, everyone was so polite and courteous.

Nothing was out of place at all - it's a slick operation and one I was pleased to be able to enjoy for a week.

  • SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES

    by lisaoT6966BW on 2020-01-17 03:02 pm

We originally booked hotel and transportation to and from hotel. Weeks before the trip I used my Hilton Honors app and cancelled all reservations. Guess what? Hotel still billed me for $100.00. They refused to refund. Disputed the charge with credit card. They claim charge is valid

  • GEM boutique hotel in perfect historic center location!

    by 57SAM57 on 2020-01-14 09:21 pm

This beautiful, new small hotel is a former bank that has been restored with incredible attention to detail which is evident immediately upon entering the building. The entire staff are the shining stars at the Aleph; enthusiastic, friendly, and beyond helpful. Of special note was Pamela Zullo, Rooms Division Manager who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. We felt very welcomed by all the staff from the moment we arrived. It's obvious how happy the staff are as you are always greeted enthusiastically by everyone you encounter. Customer service is their number one priority! The rooms are incredibly spotless, amazing comfy bed linens and pillows, Acqua di Parma toiletries and super soft towels all make for a very luxurious stay. Nespresso coffeemakers, electric kettles and a free stocked mini bar (no alcohol) are another nice touch at the end of a long day of sightseeing. You are a few blocks from via Veneto, Borghese Gardens, the Spanish Steps and the famous shopping center Rinascente.
You must take an apertif in the stunning Onxy Bar. Their very friendly bartenders Lorenzo and Max will make you an impressive drink using only fresh pressed ingredients. The Rossini is a must try! We used all the amenities of the hotel including their beautiful spa with their fitness center in the former vault of the original bank, another must see! We highly recommend the Aleph Hotel to any discerning traveler visiting Rome.

  • Perfect base to your Rome

    by Skip H on 2020-01-08 08:13 am

I read many of the reviews before booking this Hotel. We only had a couple days, so location was key. This was a perfect location. I read some reviews that questioned the staff, but found the staff from the front door, to the desk, to the restaurant, bar and concierge to all go way above and beyond.

The rooms were a bit small, as you would expect in Rome, but very pleasant.

I highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Rome.
