  • An Oasis in Jaiipur

by ClaireandBillH on 2019-12-03 09:23 am

A beautiful oasis in the heart of Jaipur, 5 star luxury expansive green courtyards very comfortable well large rooms and wonderful food.
I can't imagine staying anywhere more lovely and comfortable after a day in the wonderful exciting but mad hectic environs of Jaipur. The owners are hands on and have an eye on every detail. A wonderfully restored and maintained Haveli oozing character charm and all the comforts of a modern Hotel. Best bed in 6 weeks in India , Can't wait to return . Claire NZ

  • Fabulous Hotel

    by Curious09136550764 on 2019-12-03 03:12 am

We recently stayed here with our group of friends for 2 nights. This is a surprising hotel tucked away behind an unassuming gate. After entering the foyer reception area you are greeted warmly by staff and see through the doors leading to another world of charming buildings and gracious surrounds. Every room is different and each with their own charm. The beds are very comfortable and double glazing reduces any noise. The restaurant is just superb with chandeliers and memorabilia from times past. We felt like royalty sitting at a wonderful banquet table for 16. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for charm and great service! Thank you to all the staff at Alissa's Haveli for giving us such a wonderful time.

  • three star hotel with five star prices

    by tatiana218 on 2019-12-01 01:22 am

This haveli - as charming as it is with it 19 century style - is let down by an almost ravenous need to make a dollar/rupee where ever it can. The rooms are as costly as any of the five star hotels. Small coffees - from a machine - at Australian prices, extra for milk! and an internet service that is one of the slowest I have experienced in four trips to India. Staff are helpful but there's an overpowering sense that hospitality here is secondary to profit. Id suggest stay somewhere else. Oh and dont book a car to pick you up at the airport, ours never arrived and we ended up taking a cab - after traveling for nine hours.

  • Jewel in Jaipur

We stayed a night in a beautifully presented suite with a four poster bed. The staff are friendly and the food very delicious. Not a cheap hotel but definitely contributed to the wonderful experience of Jaipur. I would recommend to anyone looking to relive the traditional Rajasthan dream. The pool is a nice way of keeping cool in the hot afternoon sun before sitting on the veranda with an ice cold beer so it's a definite thumbs up from me.
