  • A step back in time with the comforts of today

    by Kfeat212 on 2019-03-13 11:55 am

This was our first trip to M?rida, the capital of Yucat?n. We were impressed and inspired by the architecture of the city. One of the charms was our hotel stay at the historic hotel Azul. It was a short walk from the platinum Aldo bus station and not far from the main squares and churches that dot the center city.

The hotel and rooms were decorated with antiques from the period. The room was quiet and opened to the large veranda where we enjoyed evening cocktails and our morning breakfast.

The staff were outstanding and pleasant. They were attentive to our needs and helpful for discovering local Mayan cuisine.

Highly recommend this hotel for a unique, comfortable and pleasant stay in the heart of beautiful M?rida.

  • Superb Spotless and Serene

Gracious and impeccably restored colonial home within walking distance of Paseo Monejo and three lively squares along Calle 60. The day started with an excellent breakfast and the gorgeous courtyard and tiny pool court became restorative at the end of the day. The staff is helpful and attentive.

  • Superb 4 Night Stay at a Superb Hotel

    by Leslie G on 2018-12-27 01:02 pm

We recently stayed at Casul Azul for 4 nights . Everything about the residence is first class.
Our Room - We reserved the Santa Lucia room for our stay which lived up to its description online. The room was superb and exceptionally comfortable and contained every amenity you would expect from a deluxe hotel.
The room was very quiet .
The service - the service and assistance offered by Casa Azul was absolutely wonderful. The staff at the hotel were unobtrusive yet somehow always instantly on hand whenever we had a question or a request.
Breakfast - the breakfast was an experience in itself. To sit under the colonnade made the breakfast particularly memorable. The breakfast was generous and very tasty with local and international choices.
We had a memorable stay in a lovely elegant hotel.

Spacious and quiet rooms. Pool is very nice. Staff extremely helpful. The door man sees you the second your head pops out of a vehicle, and is there to assist you, and offer an umbrella if it is raining. Office people available 24 hours a day. Office will hold your key for you so you do not have to carry it around. Office can loan you power converters from 220 current to 110 American current. Your every need can be accommodated.

  • the hotel is like a big old house, is very simpatic, but the service is not very professional

I spend two days, and three nigths. I like but was under my expctation.
The roon is very spacious, the bathroon is big with a wonderful jaccuzzi with rose's petals.
The breakfeast is very simple for a hotel of this category
