  • Relaxation achieved during stressful Covid

    by Fearless775180 on 2020-05-21 09:58 am

The staff, specifically the front desk of John and Karina made our stay perfect. They are hospitable, kind and our dog loved them.
The rooms are clean, great shower pressure, the housekeeping were amazing too! They didn't bother us but left fresh towels and toilet paper for us each day and removed our garbage daily that was left out.
The place is peaceful and relaxing. The location can't be beat. My absolute favorite cafe is around the corner! You have to check out Holy Spirit Espresso!! Best lattes!!

  • Beautiful Rooms and Friendly Staff

    by Beverly W on 2020-03-15 10:24 am

This beautiful hotel is located downtown within walking distance of the city square, shopping and museums. This lovely hotel is decorated in traditional southwest pottery, blankets and sculpture. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. The restaurant Ortiz served delicious food. We had breakfast there and chose the buffet that had every breakfast item you could think of. They also had an omelet station where Walter made the best omelets with every toping you could think of. Diane was our server who kept up with our coffee and taking away dishes once we finished. I highly recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience.

Our second visit here and once again we absolutely loved the 1-Bedroom Casita (in a separate 1-story wing of hotel). The bath tub with jets is enormous and so memorable, as is the entire giant bathroom set-up with adjacent shower. Living room has a microwave and small refrigerator with freezer compartment, fireplace, dining table for 6, a couch and sitting chairs. Big windows complete the serene setting. And of course there is no beating the location (never mind parking is $22, you will walk "into town" in moments and be so happy you're already there). While the Honors Lounge is not open and in discussion about its future, staff more than makes up for this with a coupon for an appetizer and non-alcoholic drink in the restaurant/bar at 5 p.m. There you will surely meet Cecelia, whose smile will brighten your evening. Complimentary coffee in the lobby starting at 4:30 a.m. Say hello to Indira at the front desk who is cheerful and friendly (yes, even at that hour). It was too cold for the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, but when the weather is right this is surely the place to be for relaxation. Like everything here, it's very large. Breakfast is flat-out the best buffet you will ever enjoy, with an omelet station ready to create a feast of your choosing. Hot and cold items, including fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries, individual milk cartons, apples, oranges and pastries that will make you break your diet. And if you do, the Fitness Room is close by, with free weights, the usual machines, water dispenser, plenty of towels and oh no, a scale. We are already planning next year's return and so we thank GM John and his incredible staff -- once again -- for their outstanding Hilton service.

  • Lovely Hotel with New Mexican Ambience

by galearmstrongm on 2020-03-11 06:04 pm

We loved this Hilton. I somehow missed the parking fee online. The food was pricey but good quality. The hot tub stated a three person limit but it gets crowded. We would return if breakfast and parking weren't so expensive.

  • Disappointed

    by Kgibson1963 on 2020-03-06 06:14 pm

There are so many positives I would like to shout out-- the servers, the staff but fact is I made it clear early on in my seminar that I had a severe fish and seafood allergy. I thought we had it cleared up the first day, but no. Today the chef provided a fish entree with no labeling. Additionally the wait staff had no understanding of cross examination. Sadly I touched the handles abd spoons before recognizing the issue. I am beyond disappointed that the likes of a Hilton could not manage a simple alergy. (P.s. we ate all over Santa Fe in the last 10 days and every other restaurant understood my allergy. It was only the Hilton that tried to poison me!]

    Owner Response
