  • Hidden Fee Until Checkout - BEWARE

    I just checked out of NOPSI and was slapped with an additional $150 pet fee. Please be aware that no pet fees are not published anywhere on their website or while booking. The unhelpful and rude front office manager, Kinisha Stewart, couldn't find it published either, but insisted on charging my card that was on file.
    This should be published like all other fees (valet fee, resort fee, etc). I have no way of verifying what the real fee is or whether there is a fee at all, if it's not published.

  • Perfect family hotel

    Great hotel to stay with the fam. Amazing food and service overall. Regi our bellman was helpful and always remembered our babies name! Loved it! Location was also key, although we were in the outskirts, everything was within a 15 minute walk!

    Other than a few check in hiccups, the staff is friendly and responsive, hotel is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable. Great restaurant as well! Would definitely stay again if returning to New Orleans.

    I stayed here at the end of June for a week. I'm British and was travelling alone. The staff - mainly the girls on the rooftop - are amazing. Krys is an absolute credit to this hotel, but you must already know that. The girls gave me a lot of advice about what to do and what not to do.
    The hotel is gorgeous, I had a top floor room with a good sized terrace, you can't hear any of the noise from the bar.
    I really think this hotel could be MUCH better than it is. They definitely need more rules. I didn't get a chance to go in the pool at all because it was constantly full to the brim of people just standing in it and drinking, whilst they claim every single sun bed with their unused towels (which always run out and there's no rush restocking them). People leave the rooftop and leave their cups in the flowerbeds, in the lift, maybe monitor the people you are letting in. Feel like I wasted my money here as I got excited about the pool I never went in.
    The restaurant takes iiiiincredibly long to deliver food once ordered. Every time I ordered food here a member of staff had to apologise for the wait even if I was the only one there. The cheesecake I had was AMAZING though, and was given complimentary as an apology for the wait.
    You can connect the tv to your Netflix and the music from your phone to the alarm clock which I highly appreciated, and another thing I liked was that the hairdryer was not a crappy one you usually find in hotels.
    I ordered room service one night and the guy stood there for ages expecting a tip when they already charge 22% gratuity on top of whatever you order. I was never given a key to my minibar so paid SIXTEEN dollars for two cokes plus gratuity plus a delivery fee!! Such a rip off. One night I ordered room service and my sandwich was meant to come with chips.. it did not. So I paid $19 for a sandwich. I shudder at the thought. I also had to ring and ring and ring to even get through to room service. In the end I called the front desk.
    You may also want to refresh your website.. every single menu on there is wrong. I went down to the bar for late night happy hour but apparently that only existed for Mardi Gras.. why is it still on the website then? Every food menu is old as are the cocktail menus for the rooftop.
    I also was told incorrect opening and closing times for the roof by the man who checked me in. He did say he hasn't worked there long but he told me the roof opens at 4, whereas Krys said it opens at 10am and the bar opens at 11am. Bit of a dramatic difference! Might explain why I didn't stand a chance with a sunbed the first day I went up at 4pm. There was also a full day of drilling to put in some little cabanas.
    I feel like this is a new hotel and they are still working out kinks. It is a gorgeous hotel and if it wasn't for that and those girls on the rooftop I would've probably not enjoyed my stay. So thank you girls x

    When I tell you this hotel is amazing! The check in process was wonderful; quick and easy! Rocky and Courtney at the front desk were BOMB! The service was great as well. The housekeeper Jose was efficient and was very pleasant. The bellman were gone due to the weather and the valet were able to assist my family and I with luggage up to our room! This was an amazing hotel and due to the fact that we evacuated our home to stay at a local hotel due to the weather, the NOPSI made us feel completely at home as possible. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality.
