  • Great value for money

Very colonial style hotel. Good service, location is convenient for shopping. Breakfast is delicious, it's only average for lunch and dinner. The dining environment is quiet and the service is attentive. The pool is very large. Very lovely villas. Great value for money!

  • Amazing Hotel

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. This hotel is beautiful and the staff and service are incredible. I hope to come back again after the COVID-19 pandemic is over and when I do, I definitely will be staying at this hotel. I wish all the staff at the hotel the best and stay safe!

  • Colonial Elegance at its Best

Beautifully restored and smelling of lemongrass wax, this elegant colonial hotel provided a wonderful backdrop to Siem Reap. The staff was gracious, from incredibly helpful duty manager Det Bong to the hospitable women servers in the atmospheric Orangery, where I ate dinner a couple of nights, enjoyed an afternoon champagne tea (far better than at the Metropole and Raffles Singapore) and felt comfortable drinking tasty craft cocktails, listening to (and singing with) talented pianist Raul Rebosura, whose repertoire is vast.

  • Magnificent, yet Tuk Tuk drivers don't know where it is?

    What a beautiful hotel.
My parents and I stayed at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor for two nights in the middle of our two week holiday to Cambodia in March 2020.
The building and pool area are absolutely outstanding with regards to architecture and cleanliness.
The room itself was slightly dated/tired however Raffles is famous for its colonial interior so this was not a bother. There is only one lift in the centre of the hotel which I can only describe as similar yet smaller than the lift featured in the 1997 film 'Titanic'... lets just say we preferred the stairs!
Another thing we found very baffling - no Tuk Tuk drivers seem to know where the hotel is? We aren't sure if this is to do with the hotel being known as 'Grand Hotel' or 'Grand Hotel d'Angkor' as we simply requested 'Raffles' and ended up using Google Maps to guide the driver back to the hotel!
Staff were very pleasant and attentive. The one member of staff at the Pool on our first day (16th March) was extremely helpful and chatty, sadly we did not get his name.
We went and visited Angkor Wat one early morning. We highly recommend this to other travellers to Siem Reap and to stay at Raffles as all staff are very helpful and knowledgable.

  • Diamond in the Rough

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The accommodations were lovely and the outdoor pool was refreshing and serene. We enjoyed our evenings at the Elephant bar with a tutorial on their popular drink, the Singapore Sling. After a scrumptious dinner we lounged in the lobby area listening to live jazz piano sipping wine. A truly wonderful experience near all the sites.
