    we had stayed here once before.we stopped to see if we could get a room at a affordable price.avery good deal and upgraded to 12 floor;what adeal didnt know what a good deal we had gotten.the nicest stay we have ever had at a motel

  • Beautiful hotel but disappointing service

    My husband and I visited the Peabody for our 5th anniversary. I had seen the ducks before so the idea of staying in this grand hotel was a DREAM! But I was honestly disappointed. First, let me say : the hotel was stunning as always, the duck show was such a fun experience, the parking valet was extremely helpful, the front desk concierge was kind and knowledgeable, and the gentleman who brought our luggage up was so friendly. We stayed on the 12th floor with a private concierge. Our room had been very hastily cleaned. The bed skirt was disheveled and unevenly tucked in with toilet paper caught in it. When I bent over to pick the paper out of the bed skirt, I found a few Peabody chocolates and candy wrappers under the bed. When I took a shower later, the jacuzzi had several hairs clinging to it and to the shower curtain (and I'm certain they weren't mine because they were a very vibrant shade of purple). For a room that costs several hundred dollars, I expected better. We went to the bar later and did not succeed in getting service. We sat at the table for a while - no one came to serve us. We lingered at the bar for a while - again, no response. My husband suggested we go back up to the lounge on our floor and try out the cookies and coffee that the concierge said would be available until 9. We did arrive 10 minutes before 9 (because of the experience at the bar) but the coffee had already been removed and Andrea told us that they close down each evening at 8 which wasn't what the information from the front desk said. Our last trip out of town we stayed at the Hilton, and honestly, had a more positive experience as far as service and cleanliness. We agreed next time we wouldn't splurge to stay at the Peabody.

  • Discrepancy on Bill - no response

    I hired their car service to take us to Nashville from Memphis. The driver was a very nice gentleman who took excellent care of us, He took us to the wrong location at the beginning, but we were able to find our way. I know I wanted to take 8 hours, our main purposed of the trip was to visit the Grand Ole Opry House. He took us there and we decided to go inside, walk around the area and have the driver pick us up and take us back. The trip was 8 hour, they were very persistent, that I had to pay the tip to the driver, besides the $90 per hour that they were charging for the trip. So, it was very expensive, but I knew it was once in a lifetime trip, I am not planning on going back there anytime soon. I called after I was drop to the hotel and requested for them to send me the bill, I wanted to know how much I was being charge, I did authorized them to tip the driver $100. i never received anything from them. I called several times to speak with the person in charge, but so far, I left several messages, and even send email, and no answer. Poor customer service, all they care is to take your money, and have no interest in servicing you or the guest. Very disappointed that I place like this, has no customer service follow up. I hope to obtain my credit for the amount that I was overcharged. I saw my bill of $1,024.93 I was expecting to spend $820 which is high for an 8 hour trip. It would have been cheaper Uber to the location, or rent a car for that matter. Hope to see someone replying to me. I been waiting for an answer for over 30 days now.

    Nice Hotel, friendly staff. I had a couple problems with staff coming in my room without knocking. Small bathrooms. I had to call down to the loby desk to get the hotel staff from just barging in my room (happened twice in the same day) Staff handled the issue right away but still very troubling.

  • Nice hotel in a great location

    We stayed one night at the Peabody after our Mississippi cruise. The hotel is beautiful and convenient to Bealle Street and all the attractions. The rooms are very well appointed. The duck walk is an added bonus and fun to see. They even have free coffee in the deli.
