  • Very nice staffs

    The hotel was located near from the train station. And we loved attractive small garden in the hotel. But, most of all, the staffs are very kind. I was very touched who remembed my words. Special thank to Mr. Najib who helped my little son who had a cold.

  • Great property...just ONE unfortunate detail

    A truly beautiful hotel in a great location, and we found the staff to be very courteous and attentive. I can't give it full marks only because they were unable to make the hot water work in our shower for the entirety of our three-day, two-night visit. A hot shower is kind of basic, especially when your trip is all about logging 15,000 steps a day in a beautiful, walkable historic town!

  • Location is everything

    The location of this hotel is absolute perfection. Step out the front door into a magnificent park, turn to your left and you are at one of the main squares with great cafes, restaurants, shopping...
    The staff are friendly and the hotel was beautiful decorated and spotless.

  • Nice spot

    We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour we were doing around France.
    I stay in Accor hotels often for work and love Sofitels for their slightly boutique/quirky nature - this hotel has this and we loved it.
    It is very central and close to everything you want to enjoy.
    The rooms are a good size and the beds comfy.
    The outside garden area is wonderful for a drink in the afternoons.
    The staff are pleasant and helpful.
    The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
    The o ly things that stopped us rating this hotel a 5 were the shower not having a wall bracket (so needing to kneel in the bath to try and get wet or have your other half hold it for you - quite strange!!) And also the set meal we had as part of the tour for dinner (beef bourguinon for main) was not that great.
    I would stay here again and would reccomend the hotel - we enjoyed it!!

  • Disappointing Service

    While the stay here was fairly pleasant, it took some work to get there. We booked 4 rooms at the same price level and they were all very different. When we went to inquire, they told us that they were all the same. I had gone in all 4 rooms to put away everyone's bags, and they were definitely different; one was almost twice the size of the others. It took us going back to them and requesting to see other rooms before they moved us to something we felt was more appropriate for the money.

    That aside, the valet was great. The breakfast spread was quite good. The bed was comfortable. The shower was modern with nice water pressure.

    With the desk staff being the one negative, I wonder if the manager is away on August vacation or something?!
